do you have any explanation for why SSRIs can cause psychedelic visuals in overdoses? i remember posting a thread a few years back where i tripped kinda hard on a handful of zoloft pills, and apparently you "had to revise your theory" or something like that. obviously it's all serotonin, in high doses the 5ht2a receptor might get saturated, but don't psychedelics interfere with the 5ht2a receptor through a specific mechanism, which is why not all 5ht2a ligands are psychedelic? besides chemicals having different affinities for different receptors, do they also tend to have different mechanisms by which they bind to the same receptor which can be dose dependent?

i've proven i can not-be-a-total-shitposter in N&N, shouldn't that be enough to prove i can not-be-a-total-shitposter in BLTC? since my main interests are psychology and drugs anyway, and i think i have the ability to contribute to discussion in that topic as well. the "OMG i just took 9001mg of dxm" style posts won't apply, or be in PEOO/bat country, etc.

I believe this is deserving of an archive. I have compiled just about every sort of valid test available, with descriptions, scoring instructions, and the meaning of the construct it measures, into one big pool for easy access. Not only for the average person who likes to take tests, but for anyone who needs a valid measure to assess certain traits in psychiatric studies, clinicians, etc.

Sorry, I thought perhaps the thread could be salvaged if it were moved to a place more condusive to discussion.

Also where did he say you were undermining him? And I deeply apologize for that misinformation on my end.
