Sounds good man, I'd say go for it. Maybe even jump straight into the degree if you don't need the extra qualifications, but it's all good... ah you're lucky, uni is the best few years, sucks to finish I tell ya

Yup, sure did. Generally I enjoyed it... definitely glad I did it, at any rate. Since you start off on a broad spectrum there's bound to be things you don't like, but if you look for a course which allows you to make your own module choices after first year you can minimize that. Unfortunately there's an assload of statistics involved in any psych course which you just can't avoid... definitely the worst part. Definitely worth looking for a course which includes a decent of neuroscience and cognitive psychology with a focus on research for the scientific grounding... that's IMO the best thing I took from the three years and you don't get a lot of it from the social side of psychology.

Whereabouts in the world are you at? And what alternatives are you considering?
