I've never liked hash, it tastes awful and gives you a crappy high. Hash does nothing for me except make me feel stupider and sleepier than usual.

There's not even any "good high" period, it just sinks you right away.

I figured the U.S. doesn't have quality hash (hash isn't real big in America). But I've smoked various kinds, and none of it seemed good to me at all. I'll take pot over hash any day. I can enjoy even crappy pot, at least it gives me a pleasant high. But I've never gotten a pleasant high off of any hash ever.

That's another thing, you're right: you could be smoking anything. You can't really tell (or at least I can't) if hash is any good by just looking at it the way you can with pot.
