Freeware VCD burner

Is there any software out there that can burn a VCD for free? My drive does not burn DVDs, and I really don't feel like paying for Nero. Torrenting it was not a success as it detected that it was a pirate copy. >_<. So, is there anything I can do here?

Hmmm just about any CD/DVD Burning software burns to VCD format since it was the precursor to DVD's and still widely used in Asia. What detected Nero was a pirated copy? I could get you a pirated copy if you need. Upload that shit to megaupload or something.

Good fucking luck. I never had any luck burning a working vcd. If there is a program that works it all out for you (format and all that shit) then god bless you. You should see what people had to do manually.. Everything has to be a certain way otherwise it is all fucked. AND, with VCD, you can't even fill up a CD like you would with data. To fit a single typical movie rip (700mb or less) you will have to split it between two cds.

Do what I did, buy a dvd burner for like 12 bucks at walmart.

I was going to suggest this but I figured I'd try to keep with what the OP wanted. Really, with BluRay's hitting the market and getting lower each passing day the past couple of years there is no excuse to use CD's anymore except for Music or certain archive/transport reasons which even then Flash Drives pretty much out do them in all areas.

I can get a spindle of DVD's for the same price as CD's here.

Well, my computer is so ghetto that it doesn't burn DVDs, it only reads 'em. My computer guy had a legal copy of Nero 6 on here before I reformatted, but my external HDD lost power in the middle of the transfer and I lost fucking everything except my music and pictures. I was lucky to have those. Well, my computer is all but literally falling apart now, so I have to back up everything to CD-Rs because I have no new external HDD, so I'm just burning my porn to VCD for fappage with a torrented copy of Cucusoft's burner/converter. It sucks ass but it's the best I could manage. In the mean time I'm making data CDs of everything else (LOL only getting three episodes of an anime onto one disc).
