the art of facebook stalking

so i just noticed that whenever i look at my facebook page the same 8 or 9 people are always displayed in my friends and facebook just switches the order when i reload the page. the way facebook displays your friends can't be random so i was wondering how they choose the six friends to display on your page. are they stalking me? or am i stalking them? anyone have an idea?

It could have something to do with them being your only friends.

Anyway, it's nothing to worry about. They just rotate friends based on who is online. I never used facebook but I did test some other social networking sites and they all have those same features.

no it cant be based on who's online because when i open fb chat, some of the ppl who are displayed on my page aren't online.

Forums are not social networking sites, none of you are my friends and are just people I faintly know from an online experience. Social Networking is all about getting to know people with like interests, build a relationship and or with people whom you known previously getting reattached. Do not confuse Chat rooms, IRC, Instant Messaging, and forums with Social Networking.
