I thought being a teenager sucked. Oh God, was I wrong.

I had almost no responsibilities and yet I still had many privileges. Plus high school was a great place to meet people. Yet I didn't take advantage of any of that. God damn, I was such a fucking idiot.

Now I have to fend for myself and put up with lots of bullshit on my own. I have nothing to rebel against, and I don't have time to do anything cool anymore aside from doing school work and posting on Zoklet.

It's only now that I'm seeing how fast life is going, and I'm realizing that none of the good times will ever come back again.

Fuck, I don't know what to do. I'm sorry for using Zoklet as a blog, but fuck. I just feel depressed about this right now. I'm thinking about all the great shows there used to be on TV, all the unique genres of music that came about during my lifetime, and the fun adventures I used to go on with friends and all the goofy shit that happened in high school, and I compare that to the past few years where I pretty much haven't had any of that. I would make time to do stuff, but everyone else is busy as fuck and doing things by myself would only be more pathetic.

Note to younger Zokleteers: Life can fucking suck. I used to think that what I'm about to say was just a lie, but being young is a great thing and you should take advantage of every moment of it.

While i'm still a teenager at 19, I doubt i'll miss my teen years, except the earlier ones and before that. Though that may have something to do with being kicked out of home for no good reason, learning a lot more since i've been out of high school, doing more fun shit with people who cared more about their halo stats or whatever more than their savings account.
I'd like to say that i enjoy being a little bit older, and all I have to look forward to is uni, getting better pay and actually being approved for a fucking loan. And of course, learning more.

E: Also, while I was a kid, I used to always observe adults and the boring, repetitive shit they had to go through, and think to myself how I never wanted to grow up.

Fuck yes. I'm still 19 for a few months, but fuck do I miss my early teens and high school years.

I mean fuck, all I did was get money off my parents, buy ungodly amounts of weed, alcohol, and drugs, get free gas, free food, and free rent.

Nothing to worry about except for bitching about teachers and authority, slight amounts of homework, and dumb high school girls.

I'd love to relive my life from 12-17. Just doing stupid shit with my buddies and getting away with it because we were just little shit disturbing kids. Throwing sticks at each other, getting drunk and bike-jousting with cattails, burning anything and everything we could get our hands on, smoking so much weed every day that if I did that today, I'd have no money for food and rent....fuck I could go on forever.

Now, life is still pretty kick ass, but the responsibilities just don't make life simple.

I feel like I've made a lot of unnecessary mistakes in my life, especially over the last 4 years and I'd love the opportunity to go back upon the reflection that I've had and rectify some of the worst choices I've made in my life.

Some of the shit we do haunts us for life; and lately it's started to become unbearable for me, so yea; I do wish I could be a teenager again and not waste my early twenties like I have.

I occasionally drive past my high school and wish that I was back there again. Although I realize that I hated every day while I was enrolled, but things could have been better.

I could have been more proactive towards certain situations which I feel would have made my life better today, but I can only take from it what I did, and use that to grow.

High school, or primarily teen years, is a different kind of living as compared to living on your own. It is almost a smaller version of real life. While I was a teenager I felt that I had more friends. When I finally left I found out who my real friends were. Then I found out who I really was. Now I don't have many friends ha.

I think that everyone feels that they could have taken advantage of their teen years more, but what can we do about it now?

I try not to think about what I could have done, and think more about what I can do now.

Early 20's is the way of life.

Looking back sure is a problem i have always had, and probably always will. So Of course i miss being a teenager, and when i was a teenage i told myself i miss being a kid.

I miss high school and how i would get money free from the parents, no job. i always seemed to have weed. And then became the local neighborhood dealer. Highschool was dicks.

Faggot hall monitors, faggot teachers, faggot principals.

I remember they would even interfere with shit that had nothing to do with school. For example, if you had a fight outside of school, and the teachers or principal found out, you'd still be suspended. They also worked together with the school-cop to try and fuck with our lives even more.

Officer Cocksucker ended up being transferred, as he illegally detained me and several others, questioned us and tried to get us to sign shit without a lawyer or anything present.

Nah, I'm still a teenager but I don't think I'll be looking back on it wishing I were still a teenager. Always live for the present and the future, nothing else really matters. Do I enjoy my life right now? Of course. But with the coming of age comes new privileges that I didn't have before and I quite look forward to living independently.
