Is My Girlfriend A Compulsive Liar?

So, when I first met my girlfriend in september, she always seemed really smiley.

I live in England, and she's come from Texas.

When I first met her, there seemed to be something "not quite right" about her.

She's said before she "hides her emotions"...

And said she's prone to mood swings.

She said her dad (who lives in americ) was abusive, yet still loves talking to him.

Her mum's emotionally abusive/insensitive.

She says she was a model, but develeoped bullimia

I've asked her about it, she said it's too painful to show her portfolio or any pictures.

She refuses to show me or anyone.

She's been quoted as telling three different stories about her period.

All the people at my school who know her say she contradicts her own stories a lot.

She tell a lot of far-fetched stories.

I just called her, asking about her first period.

When she told one, I told her that people claimed that she said otherwise..

I asked her to show me some photos.

The other day she said they were put away somewhere in the house.

Just now, however, she said it was "too painful" to talk about.

Apparently she had bullimia, her mother acts like it never happened, and she wanted to get out of modelling because of her bullimia.

Then she told me that one of her best friends had died, and she really didn't want to talk about it.

She then started crying, prior to saying she didn't want me to hear her crying all over the place, was about to hang on.

I said I was sorry to hear that, yadayadayada

And I was trying to get her to stay on the line.

"I'm gonna go now, bye"

"Wait! Can I just see those..."

*hangs up*

So, is she a compulsive liar? She'd never mentioned anything about modelling before she got to my school.

If so, what should I do?

Run, this sounds like the kind of girl who would claim rape or abuse when you break up with her. Make sure you get her on tape saying you have not fucked or have friends who can back you up.

She might lie about you and her having sex, make sure you have at least a couple of people who will stand by you, I hope the head master/mistress at your school likes you, could be a good character witness.

You should GTFO. Honesty and the ability to be open with one another is key in a relationship, and it seems as though she has neither of these qualities. If you stay with her, BE CAREFUL. Also, she seems to be the type who will cling to you forever if you have sex with her, so don't.

It sounds like this crazy bitch I use to go out with...exactly.
I stayed with her for 1yr, 1yr fuckin wasted.
She got me in so much trouble because of her manipulation & verbal diarrhea
and even when I broke up with her she managed to end that with a shit load of drama.

My advice to you?...Don't ditch her, Kill it with fire and bury her deep because you don't want to release her back into the community, some other poor unsuspecting bastard might breed off her.

I need to add my voice to the chorus of voices saying the same thing:

Run. Now. Cut ALL TIES. Change your email address, your phone number, your screen name, everything. Do NOT initiate contact anymore. If she somehow contacts you, pretend not to know her.

It might sound callous, but some people are screwed up to the point where they just need to hurt and destroy someone else. She might be ok one day, and it's sad to not help someone who clearly needs it, but there is no reason you should have to go through the hell that you might if you stick around her.

It was other people that pointed it out to me.

And she went on the pill.

And I did tell quite a few people about our trying and failing...
