UFC 114 - Rampage vs. Rashad

No UFC 114 thread? It's not a huge event.. but it does have some pretty good fights on the card, and the main event speaks for itself. Surprised to see that Luiz Cane/Cyrille Diabate is on the undercard, that one's going to be awesome.

Anyone watching tonight? Who you got in the main event? I don't really like either of them, but I find myself rooting for Rashad after the show.. Still, got a feeling that Rampage is going to KO him.

Probably going to throw some money on Diabate +277, Mike Russow +264, Diego Sanchez -190

Diabate has no chance, Cane is going to thrash him. Diego is back up to his real weight, and Hathaway isn't BJ Penn either. Still, Diego's finishing ability against decent competition is less than stellar, so if Hathaway steps up to the challenge this might end up going the distance for a Diego U/D. It'll be interesting to see how Duffee performs against the experienced Russow, as impressive as his 10 second KO was, it doesn't really show us how good or bad of a fighter he is.

I think it's a good card though, the only fight on the main card that has the potential to be garbage is if Rashad gets scared and lays on top of Rampage like he did to Thiago Silva. 'Page has good wrestling though, so I doubt it'll be that simple.

I'm on the fence about Rashad/Rampage. As far as both who I like as well as who I think will win. Rampage is hilarious, Rashad is more serious. Both entertaining. I could just as easily see Rampage win as Rashad. I'm calling it Rampage though, just for shits.

I have no idea what the rest of the card is like, I'm gonna go check on that shit now.

No chance? Diabate has a good chance, dude has wicked striking. He also seems to have improved his ground game. Cane is obviously also very good, but I just think if he's content standing he'll be in trouble.

Agree with the Diego/Duffee comments. Diego has had a lot of durable opponents though.

Actually it's a pretty damn big event. Biggest of the year so far and the best card of the year just as well. I'm going to say Diego wins although its a pretty tough fight to judge. I think Diego has something more to prove.

I can't see either Bisping or Rampage losing this, I just don't see it although every fight is so good its hard to make a good call as it could go either way with just about every single fighter on the card.

Either way the end results I think will be shocking because somebody has to lose.

I watched a few episodes of that ultimate fighter stuff, and Rampage is an irl troll, it was lulz. He was also a bit of a douche bag though, but that just comes with the territory. I don't care who wins.

Thats what everyone thought when they saw TUF 10 but if you know Rampage he isn't as bad as Rashad made it look, Rashad just pisses Rampage off into a stupid blunder making him look like an ignorant idiot.

Rashad is the modern day Tito Ortiz cocky as fuck like Tito was before somebody (Chuck Liddel) shut him the fuck down. Hopefully Rampage shuts Rashads fucking mouth up and cocky attitude. His last fight was piss poor.

I don't know wtf Rampage was thinking, he could have ended that fight in the 3rd but he didn't and so Rashad deserves the win.

I can't seem to watch the Bisping fight past 10 minutes, but it looks good so far.
