I think it was called 'Little Red Flowers'...film about a chinese nursery school, sort of told from the perspective of one of the kids.

The Minus Man.
Weird movie, Owen Wilson plays his usual mellow, friendly, easy-going self, only here he's actually a cold-blooded serial killer. I've never seen anything quite like it, and definitely haven't ever seen Owen Wilson like this.

Re: The last movie you watched?
I saw The Wrong Guy last week. I already own it on dvd, but it was being hosted at a small theater with a Q&A from the writers- including Dave Foley.
The Wrong Guy is kind of what the Kids in The Hall movie could've been, but is not well known mostly because it never got a theatrical release in the united states.
Sort of a parody of Hitchcock films, it stars Dave Foley as a guy on the run who thinks he's wanted for murder, but really the police aren't even looking for him. Very well executed smart-stupid comedy if you're into that kind of thing.
I'd recommend it to fans of Airplane and the Naked Gun, as well as Kids in the Hall fans (obviously).

The Road.
I fucking loved it, thought that despite not a lot of crazy action scenes, it was one of the more intense movies I've seen lately, just because the whole time you're just wondering wtf you'd do in that guy's position.

You should read the book, it's much better at building tension and really gets across just how desperate they are. Plus the part where they're in the cannibal house is sweet in the book.

Re: The last movie you watched?
500 days of Summer
Felt like watching a romcom this morning, chose this one because of Zooey Deschanel.
I actually quite enjoyed it, it wasn't too cheesy and the set up was a bit different. Nice movie, with a bit of a hipster feel.
Zooey is still so pretty.

Re: The last movie you watched?
i just saw smart people with Dennis Quaid, Ellen Page and Sarah Jessica Parker. It was okay, I thought it was a good movie, mainly because i think Ellen Page is cool. As far as movies about quirky families go, there have probably been better.

I watched Old Boy a couple weeks ago. Good movie, haven't been that shocked at a plot revelation in a long time.
