Default Fucking Greyfox...

You've been in a public library. You know the token creepy old man on the computer looking at facebook or some forum.

I just feel like the internet is not really a place for old people.

My grandfather knows how to email and such, but he doesn't troll internet forums that are mainly composed of 14-25 year olds. Greyfox or whatever the hell he was before this (AM?) is just a little to weird. And that's pretty profound, being said on the internet.

Thumbs Up Re: Does Greyfox creep you out?

He doesn't creep me out but his posts in his own forum piss me off. I can't take much of what he says there seriously but his posts else where are alright. I will always be grateful for the pack of rolling papers he sent me years ago.

I want to write 'I LOVE' on one eyelash and 'YOU' on the other eyelash and close my eyes in front of GreyFox just like in Temple Of Doom.

But seriously he is insightful and rocks

I know nothing about the person to whose respectability you are comparing Greyfox's, but "respectable" is not a word I would usually think of in relation to my husband. He cleans up pretty good, and can look respectable when he wants to.

No unfortanetly, I am only 28. But I read and own all his works and bios. and I actually do like him more for his poetry ,than his music... Im act glad he got to get away from it before he died and got to live incognito a short while in Paris before his death. But you know thats why he still is thought about to this day..sad that it took a death to make a immortal.

Greyfox does not creep me out, but then I'm not easy to creep out.

He pisses me off sometimes, and can certainly be tiresome. He has his profound moments, and his pretentious hours, days, weeks and years, but he's not so bad, really.

If you think he's nasty now, you should have known him twenty years ago.

Oh, I forgot, you couldn't have... you're too young.

Nah, he's not creepy. He reminds me of that old stereotype about the family black sheep, the crazy old uncle that disappeared up north to go mining for gold.

He can write well. He has good grammar, spelling, and vocabulary. Unfortunately, the content of his posts are usually baseless. He has a lot of knowledge about the world, but that doesn't mean that knowledge is correct or provable. I find some of his posts annoying, if only because he answers user's questions with "facts" that are really theories or opinions.

Another thing that annoyed me is how he decides and proclaims as fact that one spiritual view is incorrect, while another is correct. I'm not saying all spiritual views are equal, because some (I don't know which) are bound to be wrong, but Greyfox seems to know for sure.

With all due respect, dude, you seem not to have been paying attention? "Misguided"? In much of what I post, I am guided by the likes of Buddha, Jesus, a host of assorted saints, various and sundry Roman sages, Rumi (the 12th century Sufi poet), and more recently, Stephen Gaskin, Deepak Chopra, and Pope John Paull II. I say that constitutes fairly reliable guidance.

I reside in a 3x4 metre cabin which I share with five cats. I post from public libraries.
