Blank Checks

In this book I'm writing, a character has access to a family member's checks.
The family member has a huge, huge amount of money in the bank and impeccable credit, yet lives like a miser.
Is there any way the main character could cash those checks without needing ID? Or otherwise using them to purchase things of value as many online retailers don't accept payment by check?

Anyway, I'd say get a quality fake I.D. with information that will obviously not trace back to you. Don't write HUGE checks, try to keep your prints off them, and try not to let cameras get a nice shot of your face.

I was standing in line in Target today & a little old lady was paying with a check. She asked the cashier if it was necessary to show id. After the cashier ran the check through the machine, she told the old lady that it wasn't asking for id. Cashier gave the old lady her receipt & old lady left w/o showing id.
