Tribal Sleeve Tattoo
Hi
So I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while but couldn't get the design down. So I turned myself to the Internets and found what I wanted.
It's a sleeve tribal tattoo but it should stop on the elbow, so I can put a long sleeve shirt during Job interviews and stuff in order to cover it up.
However I'd need some counseling. I'd like it to be in one piece, like it was growing from, attached to my arm/shoulder, starting from a point on the shoulder. The design of these pictures is nice, but the tattoos are in multiplie pieces. in some
The style of design of this is very nice

Drawn similar to those
http://img203.imageshack.us/i/fullbodytattoo.jpg/ (without the chest part)
http://img818.imageshack.us/i/tribalarmtattoo3.jpg/
If someone has any pics, any ideas or tips for a better design, please post.
Now I have a couple questions in regard of the consequences.
1: The Cost. I know a guy who did most of my friend's tattoos. He's good, and his material is clean. How would a tattoo similar to these
http://img203.imageshack.us/i/fullbodytattoo.jpg/ (without the chest part)
http://img818.imageshack.us/i/tribalarmtattoo3.jpg/
would basically cost me? I have thin arms, a quick measure ments from the base of my neck to my elbow is 12 inches (or 35cm) and the diameter (putting the time around my bicep at the biggest part) is 25 cm. I know it's pretty hard to guess and depends, but hell I guess I should ask.
2: Finding a job. They can refuse people with tattoos for some reason, so is it easy to hide it under a long sleeve shirt? I can roll it up to my elbow... Does alot of jobs force wearing a T shirt?
And as a reminder, suggestions welcome to improve my idea design.

I don't know anything about pricing, but I don't think any job will make you wear a tshirt. They just want you to be able to cover tattoos up in a reasonable way, and long sleeves does that.

90% of jobs don't allow visible tattoos. They will either ask you to wear a long sleeve shirt, or if they don't allow long sleeve shirts, not hire you. Wear a long sleeve shirt to the interview and either ask them if you need to cover up your tattoos or look at the other employees to see if they have visible ones.
As for a suggestion to your tattoo, pick something other than tribal. I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but everyone has tribal. Go with something creative and original, it's supposed to be art. The Mona Lisa wouldn't be great if every painter just copied it but with a different dress on.

Re: Tribal Sleeve Tattoo
I don't want a big, colorful design. It doesn't have to be tribal necesseraly... I'd like a couple lines running from my shoulder to my arm, similar to
http://ui07.gamespot.com/230/princeo...hrones11_2.jpg the chain flail attached to him.
It gotta be nice... Tribal is the closest, pretty thing I liked.

90%??? Got some solid proof of that? Because I have quite a bit-o-ink, one sleeve down to my wrist, and I've never had problems with work, or getting a job, I never did have to cover it up. However, this has been in machine shops, and a die casting shop.

In most most jobs in which you work with your hands that you are not looked at as a representative of the company, this will be the case. However, if you are in sales, corp, managment or administration you might be screwed unless its elbow up (maybe wrist up, but unlikely). That why my tattoos (current and future) are in spots that would normally be covered at work anyway, I've got a calf tatt and high up on my left bicep (3.5"x4.5") and highish on my right calf (5"x11.5").

I assumed he was talking about a job that dealt with customer interaction since he was worried about covering them up. It was 90% of those jobs, not every job.

Re: Tribal Sleeve Tattoo
I like how everyone bashed my band tattoos, yet, I'm sure the amount of people with a misfits fiend tattoo pales in comparison with the amount of bro douche bags with tribal tattoos.

This. Everyone has a tribal armband or "sleeve". I think they're dumb as hell, and if you can't come up with something you want on your skin, you shouldn't just throw on something that looks "badass"

Re: Tribal Sleeve Tattoo
I feel like tribal tattoos are tattoos that people get because they just want a tattoo, and cant think of anything else to put on their body. I mean yeah they look cool as shit, but IMO it seems that they dont have that same feel as another tattoo would.
