This is the reason that America as a whole is turning into a giant state of pussies. Nobody wants to work a hard job anymore, and every manufacturing company is getting a work force outside of the US. When's the last time you ever heard any teenager say they want to be a construction worker, work in a factory, or in an assembly line? No you have never heard of that, we have Mexicans for that.

This is also the reason I believe we're fucked if another major war pops up. Think about it, during The Great War we were a bunch of tough frontier men and coal miners. During WWII and The Korean War we were heavy in industrialization, most of the infantry were brought right out of a tough city, working a tough job to go out and fight. In the era Vietnam was in we were building like fucking crazy, most of the infantry came from a background of being either a construction worker or welder. But, jesus, today? Are you going to trust these assholes that are around today to fight for our country?

California might be a little different than other states. I mean, half of the Mexicans here are not legal citizens. A lot of them don't even bother to learn a little bit of English, and that's what really gets me, just learn the language! Our state pays for elementary level teachers to teach in Spanish at certain schools.

But if you're not in Southern California, you probably have a better chance at landing a construction job.

Infantry was actually important in those times. Not so much anymore. We have stealth bombers and invisible tanks and cool shit now so we dont really need a whole lot of tough infantryman.

It depends on "hard working" job. As far as the fields and crops go the immigrants can have that but everything else should be reserved for American citizens only. I probably see just as many illegals in fast food resteraunts as I do in the fields. Yes we can and the numbers aren't that high I don't believe. Who knows maybe they are with 2 million illegals gaining entry every year.

It is a matter of national security block our borders and if we really needed workers do it the right way not by storming through our borders breaking our laws. A hundred years ago this was considered an act of war crossing another nations borders.
