ahhhh cleaning the nine ball.
This takes me back. (picked up a glass dick for the smoking of jwh, since i'm retired from tweek)
My usual favorite method involved loving applications of the butane torch. ( a real one, in a cannister with a valve, not those piece of shit lighters.)
But that was not to be, since i'm not a tweeker any more, i am sadly lacking in all the usual explosive ordnance's, and necessity's of The Kit.
No seriously caustic cleaning agents about, so that's out....
time to get back to basics. Stove on high, KILL IT WITH FIRE!
(yeah, this was a few minutes ago, waiting on her to cool back down from that lovely hot rail red color)
edit: but this bitch is sparkling. One could almost say....crystal clear. cwutididther?

using torches to clean that will render the glass porous quite quickly, thoroughly reducing the lifspan of your piece and giving it a nasty taste to smoke through.
