I will listen to just about anything with a few exceptions, but I really don't care what other people enjoy as long as it doesn't blast in my noice space.

I have to say though that people automatically disliking something they haven't heard have little imagination.

I love all music.

I simply dont like the fact that so many country songs sound the same. Country music is great if they have a different voice, but i swear to god almost every song by a guy sounds the exact same. So, its a legitimate complaint.

My personal tastes and musical preferences grant me the opinion that listening to the majority of rap and country music makes me want to shove screwdrivers through my eardrums to save my brain. But that's just my opinion reflected from my personal musical tastes and experiences with listening to those specific genres of music.

While your opinion may differ from my own, we are both entitled to our own views regarding any genres, artists, or songs in question and though I respect you for yours, I disagree because of what I do and do not like.

Taste is subjective. But music theory is as complicated as mathematics, and there are many of elements of music that are complex and tangible, so to claim that ANY judgement is is made up out of thin air just because it's art and you personally didn't study it and can't recognize it is absurd.
