I'm gonna get the other one though. Matching numbers Norinco, no bayonet. But I can't complain since it's $225.

I can tell you there probably are decent after market mags but in my opinion while the detachable mags look "tacticool" the original configuration of boxed magazine and stripper clips is far more reliable than most after market detachable magazines.
From experience a friend bought a 30 round polymer/plastic 30 round mag for his sks and it had to of course be shaved by the bolt to fit right(some of my polymers are the same) but it functioned fine. The problem was the floor plate would slide off and render the mag inoperable.
If you can find decent mags like small 20 rd tapco mags probably function pretty well but personally I think its would be far more worth it to invest on ammo to save and ammo to practice shooting with so you can learn
how to use the stripper clip system/configuration of the sks rifle.
I don't like that tapco stocks for the sks really because I bought one for my mini 14 and it fit pretty loosely in the stock and the "SAW" style grip wasn't the best, the stock ended up off the rifle and I went back to the original ruger stock.
But their product are decent quality and pretty sturdy for what they are, I bought some of the GI style ar15 mags with green followers a couple with different finishes on them and they hold up well.
So I am sure those mags are fine.
30rd SKS mags are WAY too bulky in my opinion and if you needed to carry multiple you would have to find something to carry them in because the thing that come off the mag is inconvenient. The 20rd mags have the same thing coming off them but would be possible a little easier to carry.
If you want a firearm with detachable magazines get a SKS model d which accept AK mags, get an AK, Ar15,mini 14, m1 carbine, M1a,the list goes on and on stick to the stripper clips and fixed magazine if your SKS was designed, configured, and intended for that purpose.
