To be honest I started playing, and about an hour in I changed the runcode so it would accept the console commands. Then I changed all of the party's acceptance so they all loved me and I fucked all the girls. Then I went on a series of dungeon crawls and beat the game.
the game is boring when ya cheat, there's no obstacles
I spent nearly a month, I did every possible side quest, collected items to get most everyone to like me but a couple, finished all the downloadable content and awakenings expansion. First run through as a mage all aoe so I could hit grease, then fire cone, then fire tornado, the fire cone would set the grease on fire plus do dmg so it was my 3 hit combo 2nd run I did a duel wield rogue
by end game I was so unbalanced that the boss fight was lame
andraste was still a bitch though

It didn't really suck me in. The gameplay was a lot of strategy and not a lot of action/immediate skill, and I had just finished Neverwinter Nights 2, so I had kinda had my fill of high fantasy and D&D for a while. Plus the blood decals where annoying, cool at first, but after a while I just wanted to have a nice conversation without being drenched in blood.

I was always amazed at how me and my party members always had the most serene, relaxed looks on our faces while having conversations and the whole time there's just buckets of blood all over everybody's faces. You would think somebody would be freaking out...maybe just a little?

OK, I finished. It wasn't bad. I was kinda pissed when I realized I had to fight both Meridith and Orsino, and the ending would be more or less the same. But the gameplay was fun, and it's obviously a setup for a sequel.
Also, the whole Bethany thing was dumb, because I was planning on using her as the main mage in my party, then she gets pulled into the circle and she does jack shit for the rest of the game.
IDK, I'll certainly play the next one, but I wouldn't pay for it.

Yeah I was mad at both of those things, aspecially not being able to have my last family member thats a mage in my party.
I will defiantly buy the sequel for the love of DA in general.
Lol @ hate posting results of the wrong game.
