question for religious people about your laws

what i mean is like if your a muslim do you tell yourself that yeah its good i dont eat pork because it really IS unclean or insert whatever stupid divine directive in there because i think all religions are equally dumb im just asking this to get insight on the religious mind because i have a really hard time understanding it

Some people may follow religion 'cause they think it's the right path but a substantial number follow it because that's what they were taught their entire lives.
