Prescription Amphetamines. Today was my first time using Vyvanse and I've never felt better. For once I had endless energy and actually could talk to random strangers like I've known them my whole life. Anyone have any tips on avoid addiction other than not using them at all?

You gotta realize that people who don't use amphetamines tend not to talk to strangers like they've know them their whole life, and especially don't have endless energy. Some people do, but that's not normal.

Falling into that paradigm of social grease and supreme energy will be the addiction.

Other than that, keep healthy, go hardcore with tolerance prevention, and find love in ways amphetamines don't help / get in the way of.

I don't plan on using them for very long. I'm going to use one every two days for a short period of time. I just want to have some fun for a little bit, I'm not going to let it get to the point that I start dishing out money all the time for the shit.

I'm so sure i'm going to be addicted using one 60MG Vyvanse once every two days and one 20MG Adderall XR once ever 4 days. I'm only going to do this for like a month period.

Amphetamines suck. It may give you a rush of dopamine to increase motivation and concentration, but there is zero euphoria.
In the end the negatives are often worse than any positive benefits.

I've had an amp script for almost a decade now, and I have yet to become addicted. Matter of fact, I probably consume less than 300mgs a year of the stuff (~30 10mg IR). The reason I'm not addicted is only because I've studied enough neurobiology to know what happens when you use amphetamine regularly. I can literally feel my DA recepters being downregulated. Plus, the stuff has a half-life of 12 fucking hours, meaning that while you feel like it wore off 5 hours in, there's still 75% of the dose floating around your brain. You just dried out your dopamine reserves. It's pharmacologically disgusting, TBH, and if I didn't have a strong feel for this, I would have concluded that this stuff is the greatest thing ever. I've actually considered starting a religion based around it.

Most people will just write this off as overly outgoing. Almost everybody knows at least one person naturally like this, so it doesn't make you seem weird.

Unfortunately, I haven't found any really good tolerance prevention mechanisms yet. The best I can say is try to use it no more than once every two weeks, and if you do need to use it more than once a day, try eating some protein or a 5-hour energy rather than redosing a bunch. Remember, since amps have a 12hr half-life, it's not that there's not enough drug in your body, you just ran out of dopamine. I know bi-weekly seems sparse, but if I use more frequently than that, I notice a tolerance.

I love amps too and for a while i was doing two adderall 30mg XR a day... I felt like i could work forever, and i was excelling at my job and staying focussed..

But then i lost my connection and i had to stop.. I wasn't really addicted but i felt like i somehow needed them to focus and do work.

Even now whenever im faced with a lot of work or something that requires my full attention, i always think "damn if i had some adderall"

Just don't have the mindset where you feel you need it, and yea only take it once in a while or else you'll be convinced you can't be productive without it

I have a great memory from amps man..

My widow grandma was old and frail and she asked me to come over and help her with some stuff one day in the summer

I took 3 adderals and worked my fucking ass off.. I climbed up and cut trees, painted the shed, mowed the lawn, trimmed the hedges, planted some flowers, and i tied up all the loose branches into big piles and set them on the side of the road..

I worked like a motherfucking machine! I didnt take breaks or drink anything and my grandma was all "now honey come down and have some water and cookies"

That day she paid me 200 dollars and it was the hardest i've ever worked. She was so happy that her li'l grandson was helping her out.. She didn't know my secret lol

Seriously, though. Try and figure out the minimum dose that gets you where you need to be. I found I could get right on only 10mg, but if I used the next day that number jumped to 12.5mg, and the following it was 15mg. Took almost a month to get back to 10mg (with proper eating habits). I have no interest in finding out where tolerance caps off.

I think a 60MG Vyvanse is what I'm going to stick with.
