Re: Pensacola Christian College Rules and Discipline Guidelines
I went to a private high school my freshman and sophomore year and a senior there was going to PCC once he graduated. He was so excited about it. And the odd thing is that he wasn't some stuck up retard. He was really cool and chill about everything. I still have no idea what the appeal for him to go there was...
Re: Pensacola Christian College Rules and Discipline Guidelines
Shit I live right down the road from this school, I see the sheltered students walking up to the mall in groups of three or four every few days. Most of the bitches at the school are ugly too imo.

Are they trying to make people gay?

Re: Pensacola Christian College Rules and Discipline Guidelines
I've looked around a bit, and I must admit I'm somewhat hammered preoccupied at the moment, but despite that I seemed to be quite unsuccessful in my attempt to find the names of the leading figures of this hellhole highly esteemed place of education...
Could someone please point out to me where I went wrong, as I'd very much like to post a bunch of names, pictures, and addresses of the people running this place; I'm sure it would be in whoever's great interest when making a major decision in their lives.
I mean, they're a good, decent, self righteous and very devout organization, surely they have no need to hide anything from anyone...
Re: Pensacola Christian College Rules and Discipline Guidelines
I've often wondered to myself how fundamentalist ignorant Christians haven't died off, seeing as how each younger generation should learn enough logical, critical thinking during college to know better.
The website linked to in the OP is exposing what they think are problems within the college. That or it's a parody site claiming to be exposing problems within the college.

Yup, got it, did a bit o' research, and I still can't get an honest face on whoever runs that place...
Which has a few pictures, but none of him. He apparently plays wow, though. There is a video, however, and if we assume that's him, you get a voice, not a face:
Which is a document detailing some arbitration between PCCI.edu and Peter Gage (owner of pensacolachristiancollege.com) where PCCI wants him to hand over the domain.

Re: Pensacola Christian College Rules and Discipline Guidelines
Oh, shit, my mistake. Well, that one is far easier then:
"Pensacola Christian College was founded in 1974 under the leadership of Arlin and Beka Horton. God called this institution into existence for His glory. The goal was to train young men and women in higher education for a life of service to Jesus Christ. The founders’ vision is for PCC to be an excellent Christian educational institution which glorifies Christ as the source of all wisdom and knowledge, and educates students based on biblical values. Through the years, the administration, faculty, and staff have been dedicated to training young people for serving God.
Our mission is to promote the cause of Christ by providing a distinctively Christian-traditional, liberal arts education that develops students spiritually, intellectually, morally, culturally, and socially. The College has its own unique personality, character, and philosophy of education in line with its mission.
Our purpose in both undergraduate and graduate programs is to produce Christian leaders who are knowledgeable, articulate, moral, dedicated to excellence, and committed to serving Jesus Christ as they learn to influence the world by applying biblical principles in their chosen field and daily life. Courses and programs may be developed which are consistent with the founding mission."
Photo of the President Arlin Horton with his wife Beka Horton:
From a critical source:
"Dr. Arlin Horton and his wife Beka moved to Pensacola and founded the Pensacola Christian School in 1954. 20 years later, they opened the Pensacola Christian College (unaccredited) to further their vision of “Education from a Christian Perspective.” The school has an in-house publisher which provides a K-12 curriculum. (it’s one of the largest Christian textbook publishers in the USA). Thousands of delegates attend clinics and seminars sponsored by PCC every year."

The following users say "It is so good to hear it!":
So much unintentional hilarity. Do they actually learn anything at this school or just learn obedience through molding anyway?
If you go to that school you were already an automaton. And yes, I do know people who go there and they don't have a bit of critical thinking skills in them.

I'm certain you'll be delighted to know that internet usage is currently allowed, although heavily monitored and censored.
Quote:
Even couples who are not talking or touching can be reprimanded. Sabrina Poirier, a student at Pensacola who withdrew in 1997, was disciplined for what is known on the campus as “optical intercourse” — staring too intently into the eyes of a member of the opposite sex. This is also referred to as “making eye babies.” While the rule does not appear in written form, most students interviewed for this article were familiar with the concept.
Reading this made me want to punch my monitor.

Re: Pensacola Christian College Rules and Discipline Guidelines
I am a Junior Pre-medicine major who attends Pensacola Christian College. The college has rules for a reason. If you dont like them, do not go to the college. We can express our dislikes in a civil matter. No need for comments tearing down our Saviour, who died on the cross for our sins so we have a chance to go to Heaven.
President Horton is the president of the college. They produce the Abeka books series which helps thousands of homeschooling children increase their education.

lol bad troll attempt. You must be from Britain as seen by you're spelling of "saviour". If this was legit, why would a Brit choose to attend an unaccredited, American, fundamentalist-baptist institution? Nice try though would've been funny if it were legit.

As if any brainwashed ass who goes to that shit school would ever find this site, much less register. They probably have internet filters blocking everything that isn't LastStopHell.com
This girl I went to high school with is now going to Fallwell's "Liberty University" where they have 6,000 year old dino fossils on display. I every time I think of her, as if she'll ever get a job with a science degree from a college with 6,000 year old dinosuars.
