Eh? I'd hardly call it generic. It seems to be taking a more tongue and cheek approach, there aren't many sc-fi alien shooters with a sense of humor these days. Everything is always srs "YOU'RE THE LAST HOPE FOR HUMANITY!" bzness.

Also, from what I've read about the controls and the multiplayer it sounds very interesting. Apparently one of the multiplayer modes consists of one player using the TV and playing the standard FPS game, while the other player uses the tablet screen to basically play as the AI director, spawning enemies and fucking with the environment to try and kill the first player. Could be a ton of fun if done well.

And this is from Ubisoft Montpelier by the way, the guys behind Assassin's Creed so this isn't one of Ubisoft's low tier shovelware developers, this is a team that has talent. I've never been much for AC, but it's clear those guys know how to make a game.
