For me, it feels like an electric shock to the center of my face, and your eyes automatically start to tear up. It's a definite weak spot, but it's over pretty quick.
It's nowhere near as bad as a good punch to the stomach or kick in the nuts.

If you're really interested, I'm sure you could find some local classes and just train a bit. There's not really any need to jump straight into contests.

Growing up, I went by my middle name "Patrick" to keep me from being confused for my dad (Dan Downing Sr.).

My Mom Is Dead, if you don't mind I'll give you a small but useful tip on defense. Hold your arms up higher. What you're doing now is holding your arms up so that your fists are at your chin, which is dumb because you don't block anything that way. You only end up getting knocked out by your own fist.

Your arms defend your head, your fists defend the top of your head, your elbows defend your ribs and your knees defend your stomach. You should have also grabbed him when he started swinging like an aspie and punched the back of his head. I dunno about boxing rules though, never been in a fair fight. It's just unfortunate that that hobo beat you just by exploiting your boxing inexperience. He looks like a piss poor fighter.

At the 54 second mark in the clip, I do a smooth duck and slug him in the side of the head. If I were anywhere near trained, I would have started in with the right hand as well, but I was surprised I landed a blow to begin with.
Since I didn't follow up but still showed I had some fight, he gets serious. He starts guarding hard and pushing me around, and THAT's when the "Oh shit!" begins. I don't know what the fuck to do, and he keeps pushing forward. I take a weak swat at 1:02 and then he unleashes some 20 hit combo that I'm not at all equipped to handle, landing a solid hit to my gut which drops me. Finishing off with two decent swats to my dome as I'm dropping.

As "no duh" as that sounds while reading it, I'm not trained, and don't train. Good tips, definitely, but you're talking to a dude who eats cheeseburgers for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and barely knows the definition of a workout.

Lol ... I feel sorry for the other guy. He must have felt like he had just sold his soul and honor by clubbing a baby bunny just to move forward in the championship.
