Thumbs Up Tribute to Manga Entertainment.

Remember back in the 90s when you were like 10 years old and watched the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Loony Tunes, Duck Tales, He-Man and all that other stuff? And then, some kid at school gives you a crappily taped VHS and you see this:

And then you sell all your comic books, trading cards, pogs, schoolbooks and whatnot and rush to whatever store had Manga Entertainment VHS tapes and got as many of these as possible.

Ghost In The Shell
Wicked City
Urotsukidoji
3x3 Eyes
Cyber City Oedo 808
Akira
New Dominion Tank Police
Monster City
Devilman
Golgo 13 The Professional
Wings of Honneamise
Battle Angel Alita
Macross Plus

and many many others

Shit was so badass back in the 90s.

Nostalgia-ed hard.

Late 80's to mid 90's is where its at for anime.

Man I can remember my friends and I renting as much anime as we could from Local video stores, hooking up two vcr's so we could copy them while we watched all night.

Good times.

I still remember seeing Vampire Hunter D for the first time on late night public access channel when I was eight. First anime I ever saw. I was hooked after that.

Speaking of cheese, remember City Hunter and the live action movie that followed starring Jackie Chan?

Both the anime and that movie were awesome as fuck.

Wow, I'm glad I stumped into the anime forum.

I was about to pop in my old VHS of Akira just so I could get some titles of some awesome 80's and early 90's anime.

I'm about to straight a list.
