Robbing an ice cream truck

My neighbor's friend is writing a book about a swimmer who wants to try this. I mean, these things are annoying as fuck too. The protagonist follows around the ice cream truck until enough moneys are accumulated. Then you go up, pretend to buy, and stick them up. Only problems are if they drive off or if they 1-up you with another gun. Ice cream trucks certainly dont have security cameras on board, do they?

You could maybe even get a few of these phallic delights

Haha don't try it.. ice cream truck drivers are usually poorer and is the main income for them. They'll one up your pistol with a shotgun. They are as crazy as mom n pop store owners

Just kill the driver. You get the money, a vehicle and best of all, (literally) a truckload of ice cream. But I think he could always drop the metal barrier between the two of you, if he senses danger and acts reasonably fast.

You could have the villain paint a fast-acting alkaloid poison onto a crisp $20 bill and have him buy ice cream. The vendor will drop from sight behind the serving counter within seconds of accepting the bill, allowing the villain to drive off with the day's receipts and a haul of multiple flavors of ice cream.
