Default Shipping Addresses

As awesome as PO boxes are, they have MANY limitations. Frankly, post offices have cameras, and that's bad. I dreamt about finding an abandoned house and mailing things there, hoping usps/ups/fedex would assume the homeowner is a lazy/busy fucker. That or maybe put in some effort to fix up the appearance of the property.

Does this work? or is there some database of this stuff? Is there a way to check if somebody had set mail forwarding for the property?

You can sublet a cheap apartment under a false name for a month or two. Do as much work as you can in that period.
This is good if you are doing bigger things ($5000+ per month).

It helps if the owner is out of town.

The abandoned house trick is old and isn't very reliable.

You can do much more with a cheap rented sublet.

I dreamt of establishing this as a secure location for lower value stuff, only going bigger in case of emergency...

If it's for carding, drophouses should only be used short term, like less than a month b/c the address will become blacklisted.

If you have a Facebook, you can use it to see who will be out of town (People usually advertise their family vacations).

Other than that, try to find people who are out of town on business a lot. Or those who work the night shift, as they'll be sleeping when the mail comes most of the time.

A criminal would have no problem finding drops if he/she learned how to pick locks on the cluster mailboxes.

If it's for anything besides USPS you can have it held for pickup at the hub locations

just walk in with sunglasses and hat and your fake ID

Or even pay people to use their addresses, under the guise of being a reshipping company etc...

It pisses me off when people pretend to know what they're talking about.

Send yourself a letter to your abandoned house/drop to find out if the owners have set mail forwarding up.
Also you can always ship an item to an apt then post a note on the apt door stating you accidentally sent a package to their address because when you lived their last year you set your amazon account up and forgot to change your shipping address. This works great in college towns because people are always moving in and out at predictable times (i.e. Beginning and end of the school year and June 1st), so you can scout different apts to make sure the tenants are new and have not lived their for 10 years.
Write your mobile disposable number down on the letter and they'll call you when your packaged is received. No cameras, and if the police ever come looking the best they'll get is a description of your appearance.
