Having a cracked version of the game causes an immortal pink scorpion to spawn and proceed to rape you, right after you get the first gun!

Now this is the best DRM you could implement, fuck that securom and GFWL bullshit etc which gets cracked anyway, this is way more effective.

Batman: Arkham Asylum completely removes and uninstalls the flight physics if it detects you have a pirated copy. So when you try to fly (which is in one of the first rooms in the game), one of two things will happen:

1. Your game will error from not finding that file (Rare and unlikely)
2. Batman's glide trajectory will be all sorts of fucked up.

They carried FADE over into Arma 1 and 2 though, IIRC. I think Arma 1 could also turn you into an animal.
