I'm leaving this shithole. The administration is too terrible when compared to how good the user base is. You know, if all the old members from totse were here, if we still had traffic, I could stomach the horrible modding and administration. But they are not. The user base now is almost as pathetic as the administration. Its really not worth it anymore.

For the record, the incident with 5.56 (http://www.zoklet.net/bbs/showthread...24#post3211224) was a major straw on the camels back, as was Ask Me Anythings posts in the male physical attraction thread. I just thought I'd let you know so you could lulz or feel good or whatever. You 2 were the straws that did it, and I survived meta and spectral's tyrant sprees in which I was banned many many times for no reason.

Its too much now, the site is too shitty to warrant the moderator abuse. Zok doesn't give a shit, nothing is going to change. This place is just going to keep going downhill forever. No new members come in, the old ones leave, and the mods get more and more abusive. Fun! Not really though. Have a good one, I'm out.

They all come back. Either way, you're right, the admins don't really give a fuck and are seldom around, and the userbase is slowly dwindling away. It's not as interesting or lulzy or filled with drama as it used to be.

Not at all. They didn't even piss me off. I'd say it was more of an opposite effect. When people piss me off online (seldom) I end up posting a whole lot more, not leaving. This was almost like an apathetic response. I just don't see the point anymore. The userbase is destroyed and the modding is the worst its ever been. Maybe instead of speculating as to why I am leaving you should ask yourself why you remain. I don't see any logical reason to continue posting here now. Whatever made this site special once is gone now, and it has been for quite some time.

And I came back to give some more info. Apparently lava red felt the need to infract me 18 times, 3 points each, for my on topic posting in a single weapons and combat thread. Was the same thread 5.56 infracted me for, but rather than 1 infraction lava red felt 18 were needed, and he went on to say that anyone who aided in my "trolling" in the future would also be infracted. So if you ever reply to a "troll" in wandc best brace for a harsh and prompt banning.

I'd like to thank the mods who got it reversed (for principles sake since I am leaving). So far the only mod I know who was on my side was rolf, the rest are faceless to me as I can't see the mod forum. I thought 5.56 was bad, turns out lavared is a whole lot worse.

Lol... If I hadn't already decided to leave the lavared incident would have been yet another straw. The infractions were reversed... this time.. but lavared is still a mod, and I doubt he will change his ways, just try harder not to get caught being a fucking dipshit next time. /forum.

Honestly I find this place to be a wonderful source of conversation and knowledge, but I don't usually know what goes on in the center of the community.
I guess I just don't get all the hate for a site we all post on, and I don't really know shit about forum politics.

I'm just speaking for myself here but I was a regular on Totse since '99 and I don't really see much of a difference. Maybe it's because a steady decline is inherently hard to recognize, idk. I do notice that good threads don't get as much credit right now, but everything is cyclical. I'll probably post here until there is no more here.
