dressy casual, Alaska style

I have been clothing shopping at the dumpster lately and found something that just blew me away.

Imagine a sport coat--blazer, actually, solid black. But it is made of black nylon and is lined with goose down. Eddie Bauer made it, the thing fits me perfectly and I bet it cost a young fortune when new.

I just wasted ten minutes at the Eddie Bauer site looking for the thing, no luck--either I missed it, or it is discontinued. . . .

I got a TON of sport coats, blazers and dressy clothes when my ex's dad blew his brains out in their garage.

Don't know what village you've moved out of Wasilla to, but the contents of a dumpster do not constitute "Alaskan dressy casual", no matter how nice it was to start off with.

Or some people prefer not to go and pay to waste the earth's resources when one can get literally the same exact thing, used for free.

Personally I go to thrift stores and GoodWill, but I also get feeligns like "Hmm I wonder if this 400$+ I spent at Kohls could better be placed into my education or business" that ultimately eats away at my soul.

No feelings like this at GoodWill and I buy a whole wardrobe for 10-20$.

Apparently americans like to throw away some pretty good stuff. Hell, I'm wearing a jacket full blown hipster mode that's from 1983 in perfect condition. I'd prolly use it outside if it was a little bit larger.
