Ummm if the mod team supported the unjust banning of regular members, wouldn't you be gone by now? Isn't this community small enough that we can do things on a case by case basis? It's not like we're the supreme court, putting down precedent for the judges who come after us.

It's not simply that spectral "doesn't like" our decision, though. He, along with me, and a whole bunch of people, GENUINELY have a problem with the way the admins treated daguru. In other words, a lot of us genuinely believe he was unjustly banned.

You see, what they do is just bullshit and fly by the seat of their pants. They don't actually review anything or put the least amount of work into anything. Keep that in mind the next time YOU send in a request or an appeal. These people don't even really DO anything or research anything. They'll just give your request a cursory glance and then cook up some more of their patented bullshit to hand to you without a moment's hesitation. They don't give you enough respect to even read your comments and opinions, such as were in this very thread.

Finally, kite-- insists DaGuru has "destroyed the forums" and so fully deserves the ban, but notice that she has not even put forth one single shred of evidence to support such a claim. She says she "researched" it (just like she "read" this thread and all your comments/opinions... lol) and found out the ban was fully deserved, and I guess we're just supposed to "take her word for it" at that point. Once we have more specific "job descriptions" hammered out (if we choose to do so), I'll post them, but from now on, if you need something from an admin, you can contact any of the five of us. However, when you do so, don't be surprised if your request gets passed to a different admin (ie "this is site policy stuff, so I'll let fish handle it" etc.). But as I said - all the admins are currently on equal footing from here on when it comes to community and site management, and we're all gonna try to split up the workload a bit so that noone goes too crazy with over-work. More as this develops, but don't panic too much, as I talked with the staff about this quite some time ago, so this is more a formal announcement of what has happened, rather than a declaration of things to come.

We saw this movie before back in 08'. It is EXACTLY how Acidmelt perma-banned my account before supposedly getting called to the scene of his sister's accident. He left some cryptic "too many times now" as the reason for my ban, claiming I was an alt account for some other troll. You lose more than just him, as far as site contributions go. I've been contributing in a lot of forums (example: a thread I made in LOL Internet a few days ago is already well over 1,000 views), but as long as DaGuru is illegitimately banned I'm going to resume my boycott. I sincerely hope others who also believe in freedom of speech will follow in my footsteps.
