A good friend of mine has had depression all her life and weed does nothing for it. It also makes her have panic attacks. Weed is also supposed to suppress your urge to vomit. It doesn't do a very good job because every toke up I puke after the third hit.

I'll stick to cocaine. It's a WAY better anti-anxiety and anti-depressant drug.

As for OP, I'd start by dosing at half your daily dosage for two weeks. Cut it another half for another two weeks. After that amount of time you can stop taking them entirely unless you start having withdrawal symptoms, then just take a dose to stop them.

Came off Prozac over a few weeks this way. When my symptoms got bad (disorientation when I moved my eyes) I took one and that would last me a few days before they got bad again.

and in the morning 40mg of citalorom and the anti-seizure again

This. I didn't realize OP took so much. Halving the dosage is probably not a good idea for someone taking really high amounts. I'd recommend weaning off 100 mgs at a time for at least three weeks per reduction, if possible.

dont quit it cold turkey. talk to your psychiatrist and tell him ou want off so you can come up with a plan to wean urself off it. i went cold turkey off prozac but it was a low dose (20mg a day) but i shouldnt have done that. dont be a retard like me

Psychiatric medications are pretty shitty all around. It's a damn shame that so many parents medicate their perfectly healthy kids with them.

I mean yeah, I'm sure these drugs have helped a good amount of people especially those with severe mental illness, but they're so crude and have extremely serious effects on the nervous system so they shouldn't be treated like they're some kind of goddamned vitamin that will make everything okay. Not in a society where weed is a "dangerous hallucinogen," anyway.

Why are you all comparing this to Prozac and talking about depression? Seroquel is an 2nd generation antipsychotic. Its main use is for people with psychotic disorders like schizophrenia and manic depression.

TS, what exactly are you taking it for? Like most do, as an antipsychotic, or off-label to treat an other condition?

OP if you do have schizophrenia you should be very careful in switching your meds for weed.
