Close to this, but write about why child pornography should be legalized. There are studies showing the legalization reduced sex crimes in children.

How about the progress of technology in the last 50 years?
You could contrast specific technologies then and now, using ideas from pop culture of the past to help keep it interesting.Technology like cellular phones, pc's (size&power), email, video messaging, touch screens, wires,wifi,fibre optics for connectivity, analog vs digital (tapes vs discs) vs solid state, gui based computing,DNA testing,gps, GMO's, LASIK, hybrid vehicles, air bags, microwave ovens.There's a ton of info out there and lots of this kind of technology existed only as science fiction...
