10%. I've seen them for 50p a can and four will get you hammered. However, I've never personally been able to even stomach one. Far more hardened drinkers I know haven't been able to make it past two, except one guy who drank five, but his vomit really didn't look healthy (it was a peculiar deep brown with worrying bits of red) and he had stomach pains for days afterwards. It's vile. But it works.

Oh, boohoo. In BC we tax the fuck out of liquor. I think a 15 of PBR is like $22 from a government store, closer to $26+ at private stores.

Is it also true that the Canadian government decides what alcohol (down to distillery/brewery and label) can be sold in a Canadian Liquor store at any time, including being responsible for rotating stock to suit different seasons and occasions? What's with that?

That's all true, except beer is sold in liquor stores as well as beer vendors.

No, that's not true. It varies from province to province. Some provinces have government regulated liquor stores and beer stores. Other provinces allow beer to be sold at private stores and gas stations. Still other provinces allow private liquor stores and off-sales.

I think BC is probably the worst (or best, as you may see it) for liquor laws, whereas Quebec and Alberta are the most lenient. I was listening to the radio a while ago and apparently they were debating whether or not people should be allowed alcohol openly on St Jean Baptiste day in Quebec. That wouldn't even be close to a question for debate here. Sigh.

I've got a pack of that in my fridge right now. I think I might prefer Maudite better though. Almost all of there beers are great. Trois Pistoles has an odd after taste that sort of reminds me of wine. Quite tasty.

That is fruit flavored right? I think this is one of the things I drank the one time I blacked out. One of the few memories I have of that day was the grape flavored vomit

All I know is it was like a 24 ounce can it was grape and like 13% alcohol If it's the same thing I don't think it's beer.
