Some people have never had sex. I am not one of those people.
Rape doesn't count.

Because they're soooo fucking dumb and yet they have a protective element to them that other kinds of dumb do not enjoy. It's the ascetic priest things Nietzsche was talking about. Like all humans still desire what Nietzsche calls 'power' but what's better described as 'continued existence'. Because the priest is often a pretty weak specimen physically and to a lesser degree mentally (for lo, the stupid are often quite cunning), he cannot compete in society based purely on his natural merits. He then creates a system (or in our case, joins a system) in which more naturally powerful people will cede power to him without even realizing they are ceding power - because they feel it's going to God or something. The result is a bunch of smug assholes that people eventually start to hate when atheism gradually becomes more and more acceptable in mainstream Western society.
And modern "spiritual fags" like ate are even more hateable than the traditional priest because they're grasping at an even flimsier ideal that carries very, very little weight in society compared with Christianity or whatever.

It is inevitable that anyone who is serious about spirituality, and actually works at it as opposed to simply spouting off, becomes more loving and forgiving.
And it does take a LOT of work. I speak from experience, having been workng at it, off and on, since the sixties. Probably the most important things I have learned are that 1) no one is better or worse than anyone else, 2) we are All One, 3) we are not our bodies and 4) the world I see has nothing of value to offer me.
And after all this work, the most I would say for myself is that I am no longer wholly insane.
I can agree with all of that except for number 4. The physical world we perceive certainly serves a purpose.
There is much to learn, after all.

That's bullshit. Spirituality is a scam invented to inculcate religion into hippies covertly. You can't undo culture by simply replacing it with another culture, and reacting against consensual reality in all it's aspects is just as blindly dogmatic as accepting it in all it's aspects.

You're bullshit too. Which culture is the replacement you're talking about? Who's reacting against consensual reality? You're so busy attacking you're swinging at your own shadow.

Though it can be easy to over-complicate such ideas. I imagine your lack of belief is a rather elusive concept to some?
Belief requires investment; it is a form of semantic virus. Rather than feed energy to a belief I think it is better to gain energy from pursuit of objectively arbitrary whims, desires and passions.

So you are rejecting social norms in favor of undoing culture through being spiritual? You are such a fucking moron. Arguing with you is degenerating to me, and I like to at least have some fun when I am killing my braincells.

You have not made any argument whatsoever, but if doing so is so painful I can see why you would not even try.

Thats cause I am not interested in arguing with you at all. I am simply expressing my benevolent compassion through sharing my enlightened wisdom with ye lowly uninitiated ones.

Bullshit. You're simply scamming poor fools like Fox Paws into thinking you have something interesting to say.

Wouldn't be proud of being 'not young' and single mate, makes you sound gay... You actually seem to be proud of the fact that you don't have a woman...

Yeah but at least I didn't marry young like an idiot.
Oh, cool. So basically your philosophy on love and compassion is void if a commitment is made. I guess that pretty much sums up your entire spiritual lifestyle, right, you insufferable cunt?
I would have given serious thought to closing this thread immediately had I seen it soon enough*, but I wasn't aware of it until discussion was started. I figured I'd see what came of it, and it appears there was some productive thinking going on, for which I commend the incorrigible denizens of Zotse; but now it's just an endless back-and-forth of one-to-two-line insults. I think this thread has run its course.
*Blunderful, a thread like "why do spiritual people tend to annoy others?" poses a valid question and is fine. A thread about how you hate "spiritual fags" isn't. I know, you basically did pose the former question after all, but I would ask you, in the future, to make a greater effort to make the topic serious and interesting for all participants. (For example, what "spiritual fag" is going to feel like making a well-reasoned and objective post in a thread titled such as this?)
