Murdering people while passing through a city on a bus

For anyone who has taken a greyhound bus across the country you know a few things:

1) It's super easy to pass off a fake ID as your own
2) Greyhound bus stations are always in the worst parts of the city
3) Transfers usually give you at least an hour in a random city
4) There's ALWAYS crackheads outside these bus stations trying to hustle you
5) You're pretty much an unknown in that city

So, assuming you were in a bad city, in the worst neighborhood, you pretended to be interested in buying drugs from one of the crackheads, brought him to a more secluded location and just murdered him... does this sound like a fairly safe plan? Can anyone fine tune it, or point out potential flaws?

Truthfully, the hardest murders to solve are the ones that are not only random like your scenario, but involve someone who's not only out of town, but will probably never visit that town, again.

I was also thinking about ways to exploit the law in Cali / NY that says if you are to commit a felony, and someone dies in the course of that felony, you are responsible even if you didn't actually kill them. So, for example, there is a law in NYS called felony gang assault. Pretty much if 3 or more people are beating on 1 person, all 3 people are committing felonies. I've seen this happen right in front of my car before. So, say this happens and I'm in the driver seat, could I just run everyone over and claim that my windows were open and I was afraid for my life so I was just trying to flee? Especially since I'm an educated white person with a good job, do you think I could pin it on them?

I was thinking the best way would be a silenced handgun. But kicking someone square in the nuts and then strangling them would probably work. Or, maybe even just poisoning them. But then you won't get to watch them die

If you stab someone twice in the chest and leave them in the gutter and take $1000 off them, you're a desperate and opportunist individual who's up for murder. He pulled out in front of me (on a motorcycle) and started kicking the bumper of my car, so I hopped out and proceeded to layeth a righteous smackdown. Me: 24 (at the time), educated, well spoken, good job title, working for a big computer manufacturer. Him: mid 40's, dumb as shit, crackhead-looking warehouse worker.

Side note: motorcycle helmets dont help in a street fight when you grab the face mask and try to twist his head off

I dont think I could have gotten the necessary speed to run him over, it was bumper to bumper traffic. When I grabbed him though, his bike fell over, busting a fairing, mirror, and brake lever.

In the states, they only solve like 60% of all murders on a national average. There are probably more serial killers out there than most would think. They usually get away with killing people over time, for quite a while.

Killing the drug dealer(who may be on crack and who may flip it and kill you) would be best done by subduing him/her quietly, and then killing quietly. This could be achieved with the use of a taser gun, and then a knife.
