Is it Just Being Paranoid?

My friend is so stressed out. Recently a near brush with LP, has gotten her all outta whack. Now even legit shopping is hard, She feels though eyes are on her everywhere. She hates LP or employees who pull the superman fucking card and act as though they own the store.
But on the other hand, does anyone have any advice on a cooling down period? She really only lifts for personal use of necessary items. Survival shit. Ugh, she is depressed and bi-polar...so she is a bit impatient too. She said she needs new clothes really bad. Also does anyone know if The big supercenter shares your mug on video with other store locations? Seems when she goes to an outta town supercenter they profile her or eye her up. Never been stopped, but she just feels so jumpy. Wonder if taking xanax before SL'ing would ease her emotions? Ugh please help her.

My friend has relaxed a bit. Taking a break for a while. Legit shopping only for a while to throw off LP. She loves fucking with them. Sorry I am not ShadyLady, although I do like the posts Shady has. But have not seen her on here in a while
My friend's still on her meds. Just seem to be immune to them after so many years.

When i used to manage a retail store, the managers and supervisors would get pictures of people who had hit other stores in the area, mainly with a focus on checking for returns.

Seriously? So if a person does a bunch of receiptless returns at a WalMart, WalMart will send the picture to Target and SafeWay so that the LP there can watch for that person?

0.5-1mg of Xanax should help ease the nerves a bit without making you do anything dumb. But yeah I know the feeling of paranoia, even though I've never actually shoplifted. I guess that goes to show how much of a paranoid werido I am.

Thanks people. I feel much better. I just think that these asshole stores share you mug or description with each other. There are ways around that I think, my friend dyes her hair, wears glasses, hats etc. nothing too extreme though.
As for xanax, it's a great relaxer if you have anxiety. thanks for the support!!

Sometimes, you just need to cool down after a close call. When you're shaken up, it's not a good idea to go out lifting soon after. Relax, give it a few days.

Yes she agrees with you. Went legit shopping today for bigger items and it felt better. It's a good way to legit scope out items and relax. My friend also ran into an old friend who used to work a RITE AID. She stated....This certain store only had a camera facing the front door, and those black ceiling tiles that look like glass, are all dummies. For pete's sake there wasn't any cameras in the pharmacy either!! ROFL Go to RITE AID!
