60 homes damaged, some de-roofed and two or three totally ruined. The path of destruction was about 300 metres north-west of my house and. It moved slowly for about 9 miles No one died, just a few injuries.

Happened at 5am when most people were asleep. One hour later and it would've been fuckin chaos. Bear in mind that we are well-prepared for severe cyclones but not tornadoes which really fuck shit up as per the USA. Basements aren't even built here.

Happened on Tuesday morning btw but forgot to post

Tornadoes don't cover the same massive area hurricanes do. There could easily have been tornadoes elsewhere during that hurricane. It was not solely contained to 1 field of banana trees.
