Jeff Hunter and JC Stanton weren't real names, I believe. Although then again somebody did turn up that youtube channel where it was revealed that there at least was a Jeff Hunter from the Bay Area who travelled to Istanbul with his boyfriend or something along those lines.

Meh. I like the fact that Totse is still kind of mysterious. When I first start posting in the early-2000s, I didn't know fuck all about the site or its users or the dynamics that made it (dys)function. Something about that mystery felt kinda magic. I hope I never find the true identity of Jeff Hunter and JC Stanton

I think it was the same guy that found the John Hoyt FBI connection, something about a fully functional Totse mirror (including the database) being uploaded to this guy's server. And then there was the Metaphysicist telesales ad where he was advertising his home-made bongs. An insider, perhaps?
