I watched a few episodes because HTS made his avatar the koala character one time. I didn't really like it, but I don't really like anything on TV these days. Just Breaking Bad, Life and Times of Tim, aaand... I'll check out a rerun of Seinfeld here and there, since it's on all the time.

It's so weird how I can't stand anything else. I used to watch it all day, but now I'll turn it on in the morning while I'm eating breakfast and just find every show so fucking annoying, and turn it off after about a minute.

Life and Times of Tim is fucking retarded. Someone posted an episode in another thread a few days ago. I'm not sure I even cracked a grin through the entire thing, let alone a little chuckle.

I'd have to give it one more chance before I completely wrote it off, but after one ep it seems to already be going down the same road as just about all the other filth humored cartoons that have come around since South park first aired. Straight down the shitter.

I think that might be like seeing a season 1 episode of Seinfeld and calling the whole show retarded, or seeing a season 23 episode of The Simpsons and calling the whole show retarded.

ALL SEASONS ARE DIFFERENT. Season 3 of Life and Times of Tim is hysterical, the earlier ones were like "yeah, lol".

EDIT: Oh, come on dude. What the fuck?

He only posted one short clip from season 2.

Can't believe I'm defending a show like a fag, but it's so underrated and more people need to watch it.

Like I said, I'd have to give it another chance to completely write it off. I usually live by the 3 episode rule. I'll give just about anything 3 episodes to impress me. After that point I'll drop it like it's hot if it hasn't impressed me. I don't exactly have high hopes for it though, when an entire episode didn't manage to provide even the slightest hint of it being worth watching.

Yea I usually give up after 4 episodes as well and may catch some other time but won't worry about catching it right away when it first airs

I'm watching some clips of the earlier episodes. It seems to play on the whole "Tim is a normal guy who gets into awkward situations" cliche. In the newer ones he becomes more fucked up and immoral, it's hilarious. This is a South Park thread though so I'll shaddap.

I actually thought the meme episode was kind of funny.

Were those actual memes or did Matt and Trey just make 'em up? I've never heard of any of 'em besides the planking.

They kind of have the concept of memes (in the internet sense) a bit fucked up. I hate how mainstream memes have become. Not to sound like a hipster, but mainstream society has made the concept of the meme pretty lame these days. I totally was into memes before they became cool . I blame 4chan.

Good epi though

It's the same with me, pretty much, if I ever decide to turn on the TV. It's Breaking Bad, Oz, Seinfeld, and Star Trek. I just don't care for much else out there. Virtually every show I enjoy is in reruns.

The meme episode was pretty funny. It had me laughing for most of the episode. I don't know about all the memes they had going on there, but I know the bread faced cat shit was all the craze for about 6 hours...

I missed the third episode of this season, I assume this is the meme episode you are referring to, was it any good?

Pretty sure that other than planking and the catbread shit that they made them all up and the point was that they were retards, and memes are retarded, and that generally anyone who thinks they are cool are fucking idiots...

I remember seeing something about the cat breading on the news and thinking to myself "i practically live on the internet, and i have not seen this shit" So i dunno where the fuck it was a trendy thing to do, but apparently it was...

Ya, it kind of hit a wall once he got on MTV, but the old stuff when he was on Rogers and Comedy Network was hilarious. Once everyone knew who he was, it kind of killed his ability to go out into public and get really good footage.

The meme one was so-so...

...but Jewpacabra is one of the best episodes in all 16 seasons. I laughed my ass off at Cartman's description of the Jewpacabra, and then again in his
Passover hallucination. "Well, that just seems kind of... mean to frogs." "That's just how God is!"

I feel like lately they've just been going after soft targets and not really doing anything potentially offensive, or even really making any good points, but this has proven me wrong... and in a hilarious way. Good job, Parker and Stone.

they seem to have gone all interwebz and conspiracy theory crazy i've found. it's like every episode alternates between an online trend based story, then its a parody of some kind of conspiracy based theory. this has become more and more consistent since series 14 when you had the tiger woods/sex addiction episode and the you have 0 friends etc. its gonna get really boring if they keep it up too much and totally over do it.

The hallucination (that's not too much of a spoiler, I hope) bit was neat, but the whole thing is just like... wtf? The episodes feel really poorly organized nowadays. Meh.

They are out of idea completely at this point. An episode about Cartman bashing on Jews-- how original.

I liked it because instead of Cartman being depicted as an ignorant racist bashing on the obviously superior Jews/Kyle, it actually showed just how barbaric and senseless the Old Testament really is. They've never really gone after Judaism before.

Last night's episode was'nt too great either. It was alittle funny at times.
But I have no idea what the ending was all about
It would have been cooler if they had someone trying to bully cartman, so cartman does something really fucked up to them like with scott tenorman. Or maybe something with the goth kids, i dunno. Could've been better.

The ending (and pretty much the whole episode) was a reference to Jason Russell and he's mental breakdown over his film Kony 2012. Even through I never really followed any of that shit I still found this episode to be pretty funny.

All the bathroom scenes were great. Especially the one with Jesus. lol.

The bullying episode started off pretty funny. I got a kick out of Butters' grandma, then it slipped into being pretty boring. Then they sealed it off with that fantastic barbershop number about jerkin' it in San Diego. That made the whole episode worthwhile to me.
