Just for saying (or posting) you would kill the President the FBI can get an immediate and valid warrant for your arrest and come to your home, seize your computer, and then throw you in jail for 10 years. If you're in another country when you make the claim they can have you legally extradited as a rush order, and then they'll throw you in jail for 15 years. And that's not even carrying through on the threat.
