Im going to freeze it and take out the water portion of to make it stonger it takes less than 2 weeks

i was wondering if there was a faster way.

You seem like you're 13 or something along those lines but go to a store and buy some brewers yeast saying you mom or dad asked you to... The stuff I buy for making my vodka is some kind of sure yeast (I'll post the name later when I go back home and find a packet) and it takes about a week.

Also for sugar try finding a natural sugar... It'll be easier for the yeast to break it down and shit out your alcohol.

I also remember a still where you take a new clean garbage can put your mash in the bottom then a pot on top of it and then tape a clear plastic or use seran wrap and place a stone in the centre so the evaporated alcohol will drip into your central pot.

Been a while since I seen one and I could be lying out my ass so fee free to check it out online.

OP providing you're 21, and not a troll don't listen to those fools. listen to me.

-apple juice with no preservatives if possible, or grape juice but apple juice generally tastes the best
-you can use bread yeast but try to get champagne/wine/brewer yeast, it's faster, makes more alcohol, and doesn't taste like bread
-you can use a two liter bottle to make ur brew, very slightly leave the cap open to allow air to slowly leak out, but not to allow air in...DON'T close it all the way or it will explode. try not to let air in till it's done brewing
-try to make sure everything is sanatized before you start

ok so like now

-put the apple juice in about 3/4 to the top. add like...a cup of sugar and disolve it in the juice
-close the cap buit not all the way shut
-wait like...2 weeks and when you see the mud stuff forming at the bottom its a good sign but dont actually eat it, like totally gross.
-its done when its not murky anymore and stops creating tonz of air

oh and freezing it wont seperate the water from alcohol

While this works, it is much better to but a balloon over the top (making sure it is secure) and poke a super tiny hole in it near the neck. This way you can know when the yeast is ACTUALLY done (because the balloon will slightly inflate while the yeast is working but will eventually deflate when its completey done)

And YES, freeze distillation is a known, albeit complicated method. There was even a traditional of making port by half-burying casks of wine in the cellar over winter and rotating it through the months to make a block of ice with a heart of liquid courage.

No, there is no such thing as fast and easy alcohol.

First, you will need to build a still, or a distillor. This isn't an easy process, a pressure cooker and some copper piping, an oxi-welder and lots of silicon sealant should do it. You will however need to design the pipes will, and have a well placed and sized section in which the vapourized alcohol shall condensate.

After that, you will need to get something to turn into alcohol. The easiest way is to use a bottle of wine, but if you had easy access to that, then you wouldn't be asking how to make alcohol...
The other way is to ferment something. I normally used to use potatoes, they were the easiest. You put them in a bucket and leave it for a few weeks. Then you distill them.

To distil them, you put them in your pressure cooker and heat it up to about 75-80 degrees celcius. If you fuck this bit up and go to hot, you will start getting BAD alcohols, which are bad for you, give you a massive hangover, CAN make you go blind, and will give you liver posioning.

The total setup should cost in at about $250, and after that, you can produce your own drinkable alcohol for a few bucks a bottle, at the risk of poisoning yourself. Overall, it's easier and safer to buy a fake ID and buy your own booze (from me or IdChief.)

Google how prison inmates make "hooch" (prison alcohol). It won't taste the best but if they can do it with limited resources and officials trying to crack down on them you can do it too.

Keep in mind that some of the ideas in this thread could be illegal in your location under either tax evasion or dry laws. I think if you produce a certain amount of the stuff it's automatically tax evasion (basically possession with intent to sell).

Actually, methanol (the major "bad" alcohol") boils at a lower temp than ethanol. If your still gets too hot it'll just start evaporating the water and leave you with a weaker product.

Only if you distill wine and spirits like a pussy...

There is a pretty precise range, if you fuck it up you will get sick. If you go hotter than 83-85 degrees, you will start getting fusels and higher chains, which destroy your liver and give you a fucking bad hangover. We used to do 10 passes (5 at 82 then 5 at 80 degrees), after 2-3 passes at 67-68 degrees to remove methanol. This is only required if you distill fermented material, which we assume the OP will do.

Methyl alcohol is a result of pectins in your mash. A simple sugar wash will eliminate virtually all the methanol in your distillate. If you're looking to distill moonshine, just go with the sugar wash and most of your worries are gone. If you're still worried, proof your final product to dilute the alcohol. I really wouldn't suggest distilling as your first brewing venture though. Why not start with the basics, brew a couple batches of beer, some country wines, or hard lemonade/cider.

Any wine your make will have the same methyl alcohol in it that a distilled liquor will have, it's just diluted down. There's like a 25 degree difference between the boiling points of methyl and ethyl alcohols, so providing you're not just torch heating a keg still or some shit, you shouldn't have too much of an issue.

The quickest, easiest homebrew I've ever made has been a hard Lemon or Lime. Just Google "Skeeter Pee". It's a fairly popular recipe for homebrewers now. Basically it's just a bunch of sugar and RealLemon. It's drinkable around the 2 month mark, and doesn't require much in the way of aging to get a good taste. Might require a little backsweetening to match your palate, but it's delicious. Especially on a hot summer day. Go easy though, it packs about twice the punch your store bought hard lemonade does.

Just taste tested my first bottle off my last batch of pilsner, and she's tasting pretty good right around 10 weeks.
