Cocaine Vs Mescaline: What's your opinion?

I've heard that mescaline is better than cocaine. I've only done cocaine of the two, and I realize that one is a stimulant, while the other is a psychedelic, but I'd like to hear an 'overall' opinion of the two drugs from people that have experienced both, at separate times.

The two are completely different psychoactive substance, and can't be compared to each other.

There are plenty of well-written experience reports on www.erowid.org if you're just starting to get curious about drugs. You're better off going there than here for information. Zoklet more about pro-harm than harm-reduction, and will tell you shit like "huff raid" or "try jenkem", and other advice that will probably kill you.

Mescaline can get pretty heavily visual at higher doses but at a lower dose its got an absolutely awesome stimulant effect. Im not big in simulants so i dont have much to compare it to but it can be a very gentle, natural and euphoric stimulant in lower doses.
Personally I'd take it over cut to shit cocaine anyday.

And like most people have said, it's apples and oranges. It depends on your mood and setting and what you're trying to accomplish by doing that drug.
I'd choose mescaline though, it's just personal preference.

Hate to be the echo, but apples and oranges man. You're trying to compare two wildly different drugs that cause completely different effects.

Anyway, I always enjoyed cocaine. I like the high, but really dislike the duration. Every couple minutes you feel like you need to redose. That's why I started injecting it.

Mescaline is another favorite of mine. It's a very colorful experience and very "designed", I guess is the best word to describe it. It's somewhat disorienting, however the experience is always very nice. It's not exactly a psychedelic that you can just sit and laugh with your buddies, in my experience. It's one of those psychedelics that you'd be better off to do by yourself with some Eastern/Arabic music, some incense, and a few lava lamps.

I think it'd be easier to compare MDMA with mescaline since the body high is somewhat similar(but not really). Anyways, cocaine is a shit drug. It's never something I really enjoyed doing but did anyways since it's extremely cheap and pure in ecuador(think three grams for fifteen dollars cheap) considering we're right off the colombian border. The problem never was the short duration since I always had more to dose with, the thing that turned it off from becoming a favorite was how agitated and restless it made me feel. It's not a drug, at least in my experience, that you can relax with. I like smoking a cig, listening to some music or watching a movie while high. Cocaine won't allow you to do that since after the first sniff the only thought on your mind will be getting more cocaine into your system and it's really just this obsessive trip that I don't like getting into it. I DO however enjoy sexual contact on cocaine, especially when mixed with alcohol. Small doses of that stuff spread out throughout a day is very pleasant assuming you have the self-control to not do more with each line(like I usually do).

Now crack cocaine, that's something else...


Mescaline is a very elegant and beautiful drug. There's this shamanic aspect to it I haven't encountered on other psychedelics, except for maybe DOC where this whole teacher/student goes on. It kinda feels like the drug itself is an entity which possessed your body if that makes sense. The body high is very MDMA like in the sense that my senses were all haywire in intensity. Fractals are beautiful and have a high level of detail I haven't found anywhere else. The bodyload, however, isn't that nice. It can get tough and I recall feeling arm pains after a large dose of it. Overall it's a nice sedating psychedelic.

It's more of an actual experience, coke is just a high.
