Re: Help Me Create My Ultimate Cartoon List
DB is Japanese though... looks like OP's list is strictly western cartoons. Like shit we Americans watched on TV as a kid.
Btw I just finished watching dbz kai, and finished with dbz remastered for the buu saga (dbz kai ends after cell saga). Now I'm back to dragonball remastered, on ep 49.

Re: Help Me Create My Ultimate Cartoon List
Theres a lot of the classics that are missing, but most of them are old and almost forgotten, expecially the old school MGM , Warner and Hanna Barbera ones

He has Cowboy Bebop, Baki the Grappler, FLCL, Samurai 7, and Samurai Champloo on his initial list; I think he's open to everything.
Also, add Dragon Ball Kai, Mobile Suit Gundum: 08th MS Team, and Mobile Suit Gundam: Stardust Memories to that list.

Re: Help Me Create My Ultimate Cartoon List
Just so you know, I'm only including cartoons that I could watch today, sit through a whole episode and be content. Allot of old classic toons just don't do it for me anymore, they're either too corny or the animation bugs me. I still appreciate them for what they are though.

Other anime my list included were; Welcome to the NHK, Rurouni Kenshin, Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan, Michiko to Hatchin, Blue Submarine No.6 and Afro Samurai. Adding Time of Eve. I know there are more too I just need to be reminded. Problem is I've seen so many more anime films than series so they are all I can recall.
I really don't know how I forgot DB and and DBZ, I just picked up a dozen DB vhs tapes at the salvation army the other day... I havn't seen Dragon Ball Kai yet so I can't add it. And I just never really got into the Gundam series, though I recently watched the first 3 movies and enjoyed them. Giant Robots have just never appealed to me until until Megas XLR and Gurren Lagann made them funny.

The intro was deceptively well animated compared to the rest of the series.
