Re: New York appreciation thread
New york smells (after all it's built on landfill), is full of various darkies (The ok ones and the bad ones), is TOTALLY full of niggers in a lot of zones, is expensive and one of the centers for the Jews.
Parties are great though, raving, clubbing, drugs are good and cheap if you know the right people. I would never ever nevr ever ever live there. Oh you can get a good gyro there though.

Battery Park City was created from waste from the WTC constructions, but most of Manhattan is solid bedrock. That's why it can support all the skyscrapers.

Re: New York appreciation thread
Well although it is built around multiple slabs of bedrock and some other hard stone, they've been shoring it up since day 1. Still sure does smell and is dirty. That was a Russian's first impression a few weeks ago, and to be horrified at the negro population. Euro cities tend to be much cleaner, I remember catching a babushka sweeping in belarus at like 6 AM.

You hire homeless people to sweep the streets early in the morning. Gives them work and keeps streets clean.

But seriously, the Paris Metro is awesome just for availability. You're never more than ~5 minutes away from a metro stop. How is that compared to New York's Subway? I've frankly only heard bad things about it, though the 24-hour operation sounds nice.

Ya it was really efficient in Paris, that's true. There are tons of subway entrances in NYC too, you really can't' walk more than 5 minutes without seeing one.
London is actually one of the cleanest "major" cities I've been in....
but gd dmnit now I want some fkin subway

Re: New York appreciation thread
I went to frisco for te first time after christmas and its everything nyc is but tidier, newer, nicer, and slightly less jews. Seriously fuck nyc its new jersey, anyways I lived in upstate ny for 15 years. I've also spent my fair share of time in nyc with a black friend from college so I have experienced authentic nycc trip, if you don't know where washingtin heights is and what it is good for you haven't been to jew york. Atleast the sf bay keeps more niggers in oakland and vallejo than the brooklynn bridge does for brooklynn.

Motherfucking this!
As an Australian who moved to NYC 2 years ago, thats one of the big things that keep me here. The coffee is shit (from what I hear its better than most other places in the states, which admittedly frightens me) and people are fucking crazy, but you can walk down the street with no pants on screaming verses from the bible and no one will bat an eye lid. Its all been seen before.
That being said, I get really anxious in manhattan because of the skyscrapers and concrete, i can feel really claustrophobic and boxed in. Brooklyn is way nicer.
