Default Is this just a run-off fuel hose? (Bike question)

I finally got around to working on my bike. It's a fuel injected Honda CBR.

I got the gas tank off. There is a hose that hangs that isn't connected to anything that someone told me was for if too much gas was put in I guess it runs out there.

I disconnected th fuel line to he fuel injectors (from the fuel pump) but there is another hose that is on the bottom like the run-off one. Is it another run-off hose? It's bigger than the other one. I never noticed another hose that wasn't connected to anything. I'm scared I disconnected it and I can't see where it would go. But since it's not connected to the fuel pump it can't be anything important right?

If I cant get it fixed soon I'm going to have someone else do it. But here is a picture of an older model (but it has all the same hoses)

I think it's the "fuel return" which it says leads to "pressure regulators" which i dont know wheretf they are or what they look like. I'm pretty sure this hose was loose to which could have been why my bike wouldn't start. The overflow I was thinking I disconnected is fine, I think. But the other one in the bottom of the tank, the smaller hose, I think is the fuel return that should be hooked to something and I don't think it was.

Good to see someone learning about their bike.
Whether or not you manage to get it fixed, you should pick up the shop manual for your bike anyways.
Worth every cent many times over.
