Default experience cloning a computer?

Since I am strictly a social engineer i have no knowledge of this. Is there any way a novice with unlimited time and access could do this? would it be able to be part of the network when done?

Default Re: experience cloning a computer?

If it's Windows 7, you can use a Win 7 transfer cable.

There are many programs out there that allow you to create an image of a hard disk and then use the image to clone the disk. I've never done it personally but a Google search will bring up a number of programs you can use. I saw one by EaseUS, and I've had good experiences with their other products.

If you put the clone on a network, you will have to change the ID of the computer. Most networks won't recognize two computers with the same ID.
