If it's Windows 7, you can use a Win 7 transfer cable.
There are many programs out there that allow you to create an image of a hard disk and then use the image to clone the disk. I've never done it personally but a Google search will bring up a number of programs you can use. I saw one by EaseUS, and I've had good experiences with their other products.
If you put the clone on a network, you will have to change the ID of the computer. Most networks won't recognize two computers with the same ID.
