Stupid question about barcodes/first time shoplifting??

Ummm okay I have social anxiety/agoraphobia and it's to the point where I had to drop out of school and now I'm getting my ged. But to the point, I have no money and even though I apply, I can't see myself working because of my anxiety. Moving on, there's this walgreens about four blocks from my house, maybe closer. The only reason I could go without having a panic attack is because I go early in the morning when everyone in the neighborhood is at school/worK. Whenever I had pocket change, I would walk up there to get a iced tea or some candy. But then my mom couldn't afford to give me money and had all these bills and one day I went in there and thought fuck it, I need some things and nobody can get them for me and I can't get them for myself, so I'm going to take em. And I did. My first time shoplifting I got two things of mascara, three chapsticks ( only needed one but it was too easy ) and some scissors, two pens, and a small pad of paper. I bought a candy bar and left home feeling like a boss lol even though it was little items. I've done it three times since, at different stores, just pocket stuff, two perfumes from a dollar store.

But now I want like household items. Like I really need some shampoo and razors and hair conditioner and face wash and stuff because my mom can't afford it and the cheap soaps she gets from the dollar store dry my skin out and break it out. And as I get older, I don't feel right taking money from my mom anyways. I'm 17.

Finally, my question, if i put shampoo in my purse or jacket or whatever, face washes, body washes, will the barcodes set off the alarm? I tried to peel one off once but it wouldn't and I thought someone was watching so I put it back. I read somewhere that they don't because it's just paper/ink but with my anxiety I can't bring myself to do it without knowing for sure.

That shit aint source tagged. Unless its that faggot shit from hollister. they tag everything. Generally electronics are source tagged. Perfume be careful with because its usually inside the box, underneath the actual bottle. k.

Not trying to sound like a dick, but this thought is completely ridiculous. The alarms only go off if a magnet strip goes through it. You may have seen a magnet strip on electronics, DVDs, CDs, ETC. It's a little white(usually) strip that is sticky on one side. The barcode is only for scanning the price of the item. If you steal something a box, be careful, open the box and look under the product, shit even take the item out, slip it into your purse, and put the product back on the shelf.
