I tried it in the past two years. It's the best TCG I've ever played. I like it because you don't have to invest a lot of money to be any good, unlike YuGiOh.

Magic is definitely a money sucker but it is damn fun!

A lot of people just think its a bunch of nerdy faggots who play, which is true to some extent but there is also plenty of other "normal" people who play too.

You honestly have to give the game a chance and try to play it yourself to understand how simply great and genuinely fun it is!

I am currently building a standard format deck that abuses Liquimetal coating!

Essentially it turns my own permanents and my opponents permanents into artifacts and I have a number of cards that do extra damage to artifact or completely remove them from the game!

It can be a real bitch in the beginning of the game when I constantly kill your lands

I play a card stealer set. It's where I summon weapon, and then removes all your cards from your hand into mine.

Liquimetal Coating -> Splinter ?

I had to rework my deck just to deal with the sudden surge of people I've come up against the last few days playing Liquimetal Coating.

You should try acidic slime. 5 cost green 2/2 and you can kill any artifact enchantment or land with him. Also he has deathtouch.
