Alcohol Store B&E

Do you think an alcohol store midnight smash and grab is a good idea? Imagine loading up as many of THE MOST expensive shit there. 10 to 12 $200+ bottles isn't a bad reward for a lil job. I would also think that this hit wouldn't be big enough to really get too much of an investigation, unlike a jewelry store B&E, or am I wrong there?

B&E IS B&E... When I was a kid we hit the same place a couple times... Nothing happened but we were iron clad in our plans. Most of what we got was for personal use not personal gain.

Depends on the store.. I mean it's up to the owner what to do after the police offer no help.

I dunno, man - you'd have to act really quick. Most alcohol stores are armed with alarms these days - especially at night once it's closed. If indeed it's geared up like any other state store, or whatever, chances are you're not going to want to stick around long enough to grab 10-20 bottles.

Get in and get out as quick as you can. An investigation is doubtful, but still a possibility.

You still will have a min of 30 sec til the alarm goes off. Most places its 1min. Check the windows for the metal strips in case of a glass break.

What if the store was broken into through a glass smash? Like a smash an grab? Hit the glass door with a hammer and the crook is in....

Some alarm systems have glass break detectors, that sound the alarm if they detect the sound of glass breaking.

This is what you'll find in most establishments - especially ones that carry alcohol. If not, there are also laser alarms/motion censors installed that go off when you walk through and break the laser. They're normally placed at convenient spots that you're sure to trigger.

The best thing you can do - is that as soon as you enter the establishment whether through force or trickery - assume that the alarm has gone off and the police are already on their way. Act fast. Grab what you need without being greedy and get the fuck out of there.

hypothetically i personally wouldn't smash and grab a liqour store, swim always used to just walk in grab a bottle and run, but some liqour stores have doors that the clerk can automatically lock, to get around this just get a friend to hold the door open, run in run out, then get to a safe spot.
