One single Oxycontin 10mg - worth my while?

A few years back I had an bad accident (degloving of right leg) and was prescribed oxy for a short while until the doctors said I couldn't have it any more.

At the time I was in a lot of pain and the oxycontin along with tramadol eased the pain but I didn't feel high in any way.

I recently found a single oxy in my drawer which I didn't even know I had and now I'm wondering is it worth my while taking this? Will I get any high off it?

I don't partake in injecting so I'm guessing if I have any chance of getting anything off it I should either snort it or crush it up and eat it?

Worth my while or not?

Just do it, what do you have to lose? Some people are really sensitive to opiates, since you obviously have no tolerance you might be able to get a good buzz off it. Remove the time release, then crush it and snort it. Wouldn't bother swallowing such a small amount.

I remember getting injections of morphine in hospital and I was getting a little high off that..then they gave me my own morphine pump which was in a locked case so I could only administer a controlled dose every 5 minutes. I actually asked to be taken off that after about a week because I felt like shit and felt like I was itchy under my skin, that's when they put me on oxy for a while.

I'm gonna crush it and snort it like you suggested and hopefully I'll get a little high off it. I take codeine tablets every so often but hopefully the oxy is strong enough in comparison.

I take codeine pills sometimes but from what I understand oxy acts more like morphine. Should I still get something off the oxy even if I use codeine?

I don't get it, why don't you just try it? No one here can tell you definitively if you're going to feel anything from it, so you should just go for it. I believe oxy is stronger than hydrocodone (not sure, at least equal?), so in theory, two vicodins would give someone with low or no tolerance a decent buzz. Just do it man.

If you pregame with a few shots, you're more likely to get something out of it. Normally mixing alcohol and opes would be a really bad idea, but with only 10mg, I don't know how much damage you can really do. Also, look into Admech's opiate potentiation thread. Might help there.

If you haven't had much experience with opioids, 10mg oxy will do you well. Make sure you chew it if it's oxycontin, otherwise you'll get a low dose over the next day or so.

I've got little to no tolerance and I wouldn't bother going much higher than 20mg

^^ Yeah fuck it, I'm just going to take it. The reason I was asking whether it was worth my while or not is because if the dose was too small I was gonna try and get more and take them together. It's not easy to get them around here though and I'm the only person I know to have ever been prescribed them so that could have taken a while.

Doctors here even made codeine way harder to get and it cannot be bought without a prescription. A few years ago anyone could just walk into a pharmacy and buy them but then some mother rang a local radio show and stated she needed to take 8 of them in the morning just to get through to lunch time. Then stuff like that was locked down.

Innsufflate that 10mg, with a low tolerance this will be enough to make you feel alright. Don't expect a nod but it will certainly be enjoyable.

So I got a gram of really good coke tonight and took it with a friend...Drank roughly 15 pints of guinness and 7-8 bottles of corona beer...Crushed my oxy 30 mins ago and snorted it and now I feel fucking great. I know it wasn't the best idea taking it with coke but I'm on a really nice fucking buzz right now so I don't really care.

It definitely added something to my coke/booze buzz because I feel fucking wasted.

I would think that the opioid buzz would counteract any coke comedown you have. Even if you're still not peaking on the oxycontin, i would still expect it to help you out. The codeine could be helpful as well if you don't have a tolerance. Coke comedowns aren't a big deal tho, just ride it out. It's so short-acting as well that i usually don't have a problem falling asleep like i would coming off amphetamines.

Nah I don't have a bad comedown from coke..I used to when I was younger because the second I took my last line I'd get depressed because it was gone but now I just enjoy the high while I'm on it and when it's gone it's gone. I'm down off the coke now but I definitely know I have an opiate on board Hopefully the codeine will add to it and I can ride this out for a little longer.
