I think Jerry is pretty underrated. People say he's not that funny, but I think that's because he ended up giving most of the funny stories to the other characters. The show would also be pretty boring if George didn't have anyone to talk to.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was at least partly their intention.

Banya is annoying as hell, but I've met people like him in real life, so I can relate to Jerry having to deal with his shit.

Jerry sucks at acting is why I think most people didn't like his character.

He can't keep a straight face, always smiling at the joke when his character should be upset.

Elaine is insufferable. Jerry is a condescending prick. George is too pathetic for words. I woudn't have a beer with any of them, except Kramer.

Jerry admits to being a bad actor, I think he's still funny. Keep in mind george ,Elaine and Kramer are all really good actors, considering that jerry does ok.

I don't really have a problem with Jerry's acting. The fact that I can tell he's having fun with his show is good enough for me, even though it sometimes breaks the believability of a scene.

I did not find the soup nazi episode as funny as other people. A lot of folks seem to think that's the best episode, but most of the episode is pretty mediocre. The only funny part is Larry Thomas playing the Soup Nazi character.

Your probably right about that. But I think those street crims are in that episode and Kramer gets rolled for the cabinet and jerry and Kramer later approach them, that cracked me up. But yeh there is episodes that are full of laughs all throughout.

Another good show created by larry David is Curb your enthusiasm. They did new season of it about 6 months ago. For those that didnt know..

A friend of mine says the same thing. I watched the episode recently...most of the episode revolves around the soup nazi the side stories are Elaine buying that furniture, Kramer guarding it on the street and Jerry and his Girlfriend being too affectionate in public.

Infrared, how exactly is George a 'pseudo-intellectual'? It's not like he uses Nietzsche quotes he doesnt understand or whatever. There really isn't grounds to call him that. People throw that word around way too much.

I love Seinfeld. I got very tired of it by the mid oughts, but I'm able to enjoy it again because I've largely forgotten everything

I think that's one of the few episodes of curb that Kramer is in. That black guy is funny in every show he plays in. I was just watching "til death" which also has that black dude and the brother from Raymond not a bad show, I like it. I have this episode that i named the shark tooth,I pissed myself laughing. I will try to find it and say which ep and season it is.

I think George was in the show more than Most. Kramer was not as funny as he used to be in Seinfeld, Alot of kramers funny moments were with jerry beside him and Newman I just can't see him being as good without jerry. Still Kramer was one of my favourites in the show(Seinfeld).

Although I just remembered the scene in the bar where Kramer is trying to be a private investigator and he takes pic of that guy in toilet who he thinks is sniffing coke. That is GOLD!
There is no jerry there so maybe I'm wrong. I will try to post clip off YouTube if I can work out how to..
